Phone comes in many different functions and models. And their function develop very fast. What i want to share here is about broadband phones. This is well know as "Voice over Internet Protocol" (VoIP). The function is being a transmission technology for delivering voice over the world using internet or packet-switched network. Other terms that synonym with VoIP are IP telephony and Internet telephony, as well as voice over broadband, broadband telephony, and broadband phone, when the network connectivity is available over broadband Internet access.

Broadband Phone or VoIP allow for transparent phone communications worldwide when interface with the traditional public switch phone network. VoIP also reducing communication and infrastructure costs. VoIP act as router phone calls over the network and avoid network systems being duplicate. VoIP carry voice as digital audio and by using speach data compression techniques they typically reduced in data rate then packetized in small units of typically tens of milliseconds of speech and speard in a packet stream over IP.
